GreedySnobs.com is an exclusive country club style community. GreedySnobs.com is an invitation only social network for adults over the age of 21. Members are welcome to invite whomever they like, however, all invitees must apply and be approved by the Administration and must comply with all of the Terms of Use.

Mission Statement:

As an artist, I think of everything that I create as Art. Everything has that creative element: it all begins as a vision in the mind that needs to be created, it begins to take shape as you feel it and think about it and work very hard on creating it to be just as you've visualized it. You bleed and you sweat for your Art to make it as fabulous as possible. Then you let it go. And then it lives and breathes on its own.

The vision that began GreedySnobs.com was a simple one: a online community of Snobs & their admirers with an aesthetic of finery and refinement. A site that makes use of the best technology available. A place where I would want to spend my time. A space that is beautiful and that celebrates the beauty of Greed and the beauty of Snobbery. A place that is exclusive, but "exclusive" in a way that resonates with me.

There are several sites that already exist that focus on the things that Snobs love (fashion, art, finance, entertainment, luxury, etc.), sites that focus on financial fetishes, sites that focus on beautiful snobby women and those who admire them, and sites that focus on all sorts of different aspects related to what is now GreedySnobs.com. But there isn't one single site that focuses on all of it at once. That is my vision.

And many of these sites are exclusive in various ways. But they aren't exclusive in a way that resonates with me as 'right' - but rather in arbitrary ways. For me the exclusivity of our site is very simple - it isn't about arbitrarily online-only ideas & ideals of "real," it isn't about who is part of a singular clique, it isn't about anything at all except who meets that indefinable standard of Class. You know a Snob when you see one, even if you can't define it.

I could go on for days about what a Snob isn't and about what a Snobby site isn't. But I don't really CARE about everyone else or those who are excluded, that's the point of having an Exclusive site. What I want to focus on is the delightful things that make life so lovely.

And one last component of my vision for the site was that it be autonomous. As I said, with Art, you create it and then you let it go. I may have had the first creative thought for the site, I may have made the site, I may own the site, but in a very real way it doesn't belong to me. It belongs to the Snobby members. This is the way I want it, because this letting go process is not only an integral part of Art, but also because I don't care about the clutter and drama that come with so many sites.

I set it up so that there aren't any "admin spy" features. I'm not monitoring who talks to who and who does what on the site, I follow site activity via the Facebook-like Wall like everyone else. It's intrinsic to my ideas of Art and my ideals of Snobbery that I really can't be bothered with what everyone else is doing or thinking - that's why the exclusivity is so perfect for me. If I don't let in those who would mess the place up, then I can just let it be and enjoy the site for what it is - a fun place to share and socialize with Snobs while teasing admirers endlessly!

I'll continue to make sure that the site is always updated for security and so that we always have the best of the best technology*, but otherwise, the site lives on its own now. Just like all art does.

I first visualized, then created and now I've let go of the creative process to just enjoy the manifestation of my original vision: a fun, beautiful place to spend time online! Enjoy!
